NIAR has developed new training programs for laboratories

The National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation (NIAR), with the support of the Federal Service for Accreditation, has developed new remote learning programs on the practical implementation of the requirements of the interstate standard GOST ISO / IEC 17025-2019 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" (ISO / IEC 17025: 2017) to the estimation of measurement uncertainty, taking into account the peculiarities of various types of research.

Training under the additional professional advanced training program "Assessment of the uncertainty of measurements of physical and chemical research (tests)" will be held on the unified educational platform of the national accreditation system (NAS) from 10 to 11 February in a remote format. The interaction of trainers with listeners will be carried out within the framework of the webinar, which will be held on February 11. The final certification of students will be held in the format of remote testing. Training under the additional professional advanced training program "Assessment of the uncertainty of measurements of physical and mechanical research (tests)" will be held on the unified educational platform of the NAS from 17 to 18 February in a remote format.

Interaction of trainers with listeners will be carried out within the framework of the webinar, which will be held on February 18. The final certification of students will be carried out in the format of remote testing. From 1 to 4 February, on the NAS unified educational platform the second stream of students will be trained in a remote format under the additional professional advanced training program “Distilled water. Manufacturing and control methods. Ensuring the reliability of the results”.

The program, developed by NIAR together with the Innovation Training and Research Center with the support of RusAccreditation, was successfully launched in December 2020. Within the framework of the training, a comparative analysis of the requirements of the standards GOST 6709-72 and GOST R 58144-2018 is presented, as well as video materials with a visual demonstration of methods for determining pH of water, specific electrical conductivity of water, content of substances that reduce potassium permanganate by visual method, mass concentration of lead, copper and chloride ions.

Particular attention in the educational process is paid to the procedures for internal control of the quality of distilled water, including the validation and verification of methods for controlling the quality of distilled water, ensuring metrological traceability when introducing methods for controlling the quality of distilled water, interpretation and registration of the results of quality control of distilled water, as well as the features of the formation of the laboratory scope of accreditation by including distilled water as an object of research.
